Sigh

When John the baptist was beheaded, Jesus though upset, had compassion on the needy and healed and cared for them.

When Jesus brought his 3 closest disciples to pray at Gethsemane and they failed to keep watch with him, he continued to have a gentle spirit in responding and relating with them.

When Jesus was denied 3 times continuously by one of his closest disciples, he looked on to him with love.

Emotions are a real bummer sometimes. And I'm sure during all the above 3 scenarios, Jesus was (if not overwhelmed) filled with much negative emotions. The powerful part is that in all 3 scenarios, Jesus (correct me if I'm wrong) probably didn't reveal himself to have such negative emotions but on the contrary were helping others and still loving others. How did he do it?

God, won't you just impart such skills and ability to me...
