blessed to be a blessing: Welcome CG for Calyn! ^^

Although I must say that I need to do some other stuff at this moment but I think I will still blog this special enty. ^^

Today we welcomed our beloved new dear CG mate Calyn Yim!!! No... The face you see below made out of the sugar packs is not Calyn. =P

This is Calyn Yim! Hahaha.

Breakfast at this rather expensive bread shop! It has free flow bread though if you buy their soup of the day!!! ^^

Heading off to our next stop for the welcome "ceremony"!!! ^^

As you can see, Calyn is always equipped and ready with a smile for the camera. Hahaha. This is a backshot taken without me looking back.

Taking a momento of "Shepherd & Sheep Uncoordinated same colour Day #???" with a little uhum... interesting background there. Hahaha. We keep wearing the same colour top without communicating lar. Hahaha.

This is our intersting ship. Don't scream if you're looking at this and not been through Uni camp yet. Hahaha.

And so we begin our dear welcome "ceremony" for Calyn!!! Basically she had to perform 6 simple tasks by 6 of us CG members which are related to 6 different aspects we hope to see in our CG!!! ^^

The first thing Calyn received is a crane. It's suppose to represent flight or "fei".

Second part of first task. She's suppose to walk down and up the escalator which represents a flight of stairs or "lou".

Last part we looked at a passage on the Noah's Ark which represents "ship". So together "fei", "lou" and "ship" you get... FELLOWSHIP!!! DING DING DING! Hahaha. Lame right... Not my idea. I put disclaimer first. Hahaha. See how shocked Calyn is when she found out. Hahaha. First is Fellowship! ^^

After having completed the task, K.T. handed her a paper cutting of 10 people joining hands and heads together, representing each CG memeber. :)

Second task! Seow Wei got Calyn to draw out and explain one of her loved moments. :) After completing the task, Seow Wei handed her a simple card with windows for her. Second is Openess and Authenticity! ^^

Third task! Calyn had to lead us in praising God! Hahaha. And after that she received a springy card from Ash! Woot! ^^ Third is Enthusiasm & Joy!!!

Fourth Task! Shan Rui got Calyn to recite Hebrews 4:12 and she did it! Well done Calyn! ^^ So she received a "Sword of the Spirit" from Shan Rui! Hahaha. Fourth is being rooted in the Word of God! ^^

Calyn tried to do some stabbing with the "Sword of the Spirit". Hahaha. Someone commented that it looked more like the "Dagger of the Spirit". LOL!

For the Fifth Task, there's a video on sprouting seed which I'll try and see how I can upload it onto my blog. Hahaha. Although Gracia couldn't be there, thank God for you sister for the preparations and the gift! ^^ Gracia got Calyn a notebook that says "Love" outside coz she can't find one that says "Growth". Hahaha. Fifth is Growth!!! ^^

Calyn's final task! To pose the letters "L", "O", "V", "E" and get us to pose together as well. :)
