Matric Unleashed and Hot Wheels Events

Ok ok. So I've been procrastinating with blogging. Just a few updates on what happened for Unleashed and Hot Wheels. :)

Met at Newton mrt to take bus down together to the venue for "Unleashed"! The basketball people decided on wearing white while the captain's ball team decided on wearing green. :) As you can see, we were ready to do our best in this. Wahahaha. Did some running around the track and some warm ups. :)

The Peru basketball team! Though you guys came in second in the intra-continental basketball game, I'm really proud of you guys! Really. I mean really, who could've defeated the monster Reuben? =P Reuben, you're really a monster when it comes to basketball. Hahaha. :)

The Peru Captain's Ball team! Cool gurls! They played hard and well and manged to get into the finals! And because of them, we managed to get a gold medal! Woohoo! ^^

Go Peru! All of us were really really happy after the entire "Unleahsed" event. Coz though we broke our bronze streak (Awww...) we clinched a Gold and a Silver that night! Our FIRST Gold! Woot! ^^

A slight entertainment photo for all you readers. The story goes like this. Michelle forgot to bring her shoes but she is playing Captain's Ball. Hence Si Hui decided to lent Michelle her shoes. And thus resulting in this photo. Cute right? She's trying to go Japanese. Hello hello. Are you still a Peruvian? Hahaha. =P She really is like the cutest OGL lar, doing all these kind of farny stuff. Wahaha.

Next we have "Hot Wheels"!!!

"Hot Wheels" was held at Pasir Ris Park. We met earlier to grab some light breakfasts and it was good. :) It's a cycling event in case you still haven't realised. There were 2 parts to the event. First part is where we were suppose to compete using pure muscles. We had to cycle 10 rounds of the route which they have marked out. It was (freaking) really long. Everyone may start cycling really fast at the start but most die out nearing the end of the 1 round. Thank goodness it's a relay. Hence the first 4 rounds were single bikes, following 3 rounds were tandem bikes and then the final 3 rounds were single bikes. I took the first tandem bike round and the 8th round. Amazingly we managed to overtake a lot (I really mean a lot) of teams despite the disadvantage of starting somewhere at the back. I was really really in quite an awe. And in the end we got 2nd!!! Woot! Really something unexpected. To think that we were like saying "Ok ok. Let's just enjoy the games k? Just make sure that as you cycle you don't fall down."

The second segment was mastermind with cycling. We had to cycle out to get the colours for the colours that we guess. Zzzz... Didn't do very well for this segment. But it's ok. Nonetheless we were pretty satisfied with the games. It was really fun and enjoyable. :)

Love you all team Peru!!! ^^ Amazingly we clinched our second and third Gold medals through this event. Plus bonus of one silver and one bronze medal! Not very used to seeing Gold medal at that point of time but I must say, it was really a time that called for celebration. :)

Last but not least, this is another entertainment photo of Tim and myself pulling our t-shirts towards each other to show the yellowish-ness of our tops. Hahaha. Pls.. We're not holding each other's thumbs if you're thinking of that.
